The Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer
Vera Bradley Co-founders Barbara Bradley Baekgaard and Patricia R. Miller began raising funds for breast cancer research in 1993 after the loss of their dear friend, Mary Sloan. Since then, their genuine commitment to this cause has evolved into the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer. The foundation has raised $20 million in contributions and sees great potential to raise more in the future . . .
87 cents out of every dollar donated to the Foundation directly benefits breast cancer research.
“Our lives are connected by a thousand invisible threads, and along these sympathetic fibers, our actions run as causes and return to us as results.” — Henry Mellville
