Serving Meals to Families in Need. Bread and Roses Soup Kitchen
Local Charities: For 25 years, Annie’s associates and owners of Annie’s Hallmark, Bill and Jackie Bannister, have made a monthly meal for the Bread and Roses soup kitchen.
In 2012, the Annie’s Men’s Night raffle resulted in the ability to purchase a new commercial oven for this local non-profit. Located in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Bread and Roses opens their doors six nights a week to serve meals to more than 200 individuals in need, graciously doing so for more than 30 years.
Hunger relief is the focus. Well-balanced meals are provided free of charge to the guests and their children. Hundreds of volunteers from around the Merrimack Valley participate.
Looking to join the great cause? Bread and Roses sees volunteers from many different walks of life come together to help their community and those in need. Click here to find out how to get involved.
