Since 1986, Shoebox by Hallmark has been the nation’s leader in humorous cards. More than 500 different cards to choose from for birthdays, friendships, anniversaries and more . . . it’s there – just keep looking! Shoebox features many fun characters like the famous duo Hoops and Yoyo and the ever-crabby Maxine! Did you know? Maxine creator John Wagner started cards that mimicked his mother. Giftwrap
Hallmark invented what is today known as “giftwrap” in 1917. It was the middle of the Christmas season and the Hall brothers ran out of then-popular solid craft paper. Improvising by using a surplus of elegant French envelope linin, designer gift wrap was born.
Today, Hallmark produces hundreds of designs of gift wrap for various holidays. Some wrapping paper is double-sided and others feature popular licensed characters, but all Hallmark gift wrap has the same great quality customers have loved for over 95 years.
But, perhaps, the best thing about Hallmark giftwrap may be the value. We’ve learned the hard way. We purchased one discount department store brand along with a drug store brand and compared them to Hallmark’s giftwrap . . . the result? No comparison!
