Deviled Eggs Recipe
Nothing wrong with the deviled eggs our grandmothers taught us to make. But if you want to add a little zing to this springtime staple, don’t be afraid to add some zing!
Ingredients:
Start by covering 6 eggs with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook for 12 minutes. Once eggs are cooked, place carefully and immediately into cold water to stop the cooking. Peel immediately. Slice in half, yolks into a bowl. Mash with a fork.
Add: 2 TBSP mayonnaise 2 tsp yellow mustard 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce Salt & Pepper
For a little more zing . . . add a dash or two of hot Tiger sauce. Mix thoroughly.
Spoon or pipe mixture into egg white shells. Decorate the tops with sprigs of fresh herbs or cheese.
And don’t be afraid to crank up the flavors – or notch them down a tad. Either way, dinner guests will love these (especially when presented so beautifully as shown here on the new Nora Fleming deviled egg platter).
