Make-A-Wish: Evan’s Story

For more than 30 years, Make-A-Wish Foundation has been granting the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses.  Wishes like meeting a celebrity, having a themed birthday party, getting that dreamed-about furry friend.  Unsurprisingly, 40% of all wishes involve a very special mouse, his royal friends, and a famous castle.

The Walt Disney Company has helped make more than 80,000 wishes come true.  Here at Annie’s, we were elated when we had the opportunity to help 3-year-old Evan with his dream to meet Mickey Mouse through Make-A-Wish New Hampshire.

The average cost of a child’s wish exceeds $8,000.  Without the fundraising efforts of many people in the community, the volume of wishes this organization grants would be impossible.  In addition to our donation, members of our community held several fundraisers to help make Evan’s wish come true.

Funds raised by the community helped send Evan to Disney to meet one of his favorite characters.  Evan and his family met Mickey and the gang in addition to experiencing Disney Magic first hand.
