Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer: Think Pink Event

The Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer was the focus of Annie’s Hallmark Baldoria planning throughout September 2014.  “Thinking Pink” in preparation for the upcoming fundraiser, associates papered the foyer in pink ribbons, customers and associates openly shared heartfelt and personal stories.  Special breast cancer awareness bags were given away . . . hope for a cure resonated throughout.  

On September 27, Special Guest Joan Bradley Reedy, daughter of Vera Bradley, joined customers in both locations to help fundraise and bring attention to the incredible $21 million raised since 1998 by the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.

One in every eight women will develop invasive breast cancer during her lifetime.  The Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer is looking to change this statistic, raising funds to invest in innovative research efforts to find a cure.

On September 27, Joan Bradley Reedy sat down with customers to chat and share stories about Vera Bradley and the inspiration of the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.  She signed Vera Bradley bags for customers while all socialized over cupcakes, cookies and beverages. Raffle tickets were sold; proceeds donated to the Vera Bradley foundation.  Grand Prize Winner, Betty Chapman, will receive one Vera Bradley piece in her favorite pattern each month for one year! (Retail value of up to $500) Other lucky winners won individual pieces and sets.  Everyone was a winner of awesome fun prizes when they spun the Wheel-of-Wow!
