The scarf is the perfect accessory to add to an outfit year round for an extra pop of color or the addition of a bold pattern.  But, for most women figuring out how to turn this piece of fabric into the accessory everyone will “ooh” and “ahh” over can be a bit challenging.

 Modern Loop Scarf

  1. The Modern Loop

    This is one of the simplest techniques.

    • Take your scarf and drape it around the back of your neck, make one end slightly longer than the other

    • Wrap the longer end around your neck

    • Loosen the fabric around your neck and adjust accordingly

  2. Infinity ScarfThe Infinity

    Some scarfs you can buy have no beginning or end; this is known as an infinity scarf. If you
    find a regular scarf you love but want the infinity look . . . this is the style for you.

    • Drape the scarf around the back of your neck

    • Tie both ends together

    • Twist to make an “x” shape in front of you and put your head through

  3. The European Loop

    • Fold the scarf in half putting the two ends together

    • Drape the scarf around the back of your neck

    • Pull both ends through the loop created by the fold

  4. The Waterfall

    A very stylish look for a variety of occasions.

    • Wrap the long end twice around the neck, returning it to its original side

    • Still using the longer end, pinch a corner piece of the fabric so it is stretched out

    • Tuck this corner into one of the folds in your scarf around your neck

    A fun and unique look that is simple to achieve. This process is similar to “The European Loop.”

    • Fold the scarf in half putting the two ends together
